| Comments | Semem Only. Homozygous Pinto Warmblood stallion.Sire: Samber Dam: Oraya H. Registered: International: KWPN, American Warmblood Registry, French National Haras, Scottish Sport Horse Society, International Heavy Warmblood Society. Australian: Approved AWHA, ACE, AHSA, EFA, NSW Pinto. What's Colour is the only KWPN homozygous Pinto Warmblood stallion to be imported to Australia. Approved or registered with over five International Stud Books, What's Colour is approved by the AWHA, and registered with the ACE, AHSA, EFA, and NSW Pinto Associations. Imported in December of 2008 What's Colour has exceeded all expectations. With huge expansive movement, a natural power, elasticity and balance and the rare combination of abundant athleticism yet responsive trainability this stallion is an exciting addition to the Australian Warmblood industry. With impressive outings at the Sydney CDI Stallion Parade and with scores at Official Novice Level of over 72%, including 9's for trot, What's Colour is the stallion that everyone is talking about. His bloodlines are as equally as impressive as his performances. What's Colour is by one of the most influential coloured sires of modern time, Samber. Samber is, to date, the only coloured stallion to be approved into the prestigious and exacting KWPN society allowing What's Colour to be the only homozygous Tobiano stallion with full KWPN papers. What's Colour's dam, Oraya, is by Mecanas, who qualified for the Dutch Championships at 5 years old. Oraya belongs to the Loma family, who are responsible for many successful jumping and dressage bloodlines and currently this dam line has 27 approved stallions including Kagali (KWPN), Hattrick (KWPN), Omen Z, Al Dente (Westphalian), Lorenzo (AES) and Farrington (KWPN). During the Foal Grading Tour and Classification in Holland late last year, What's Colour's progeny were extremely successful, gaining Premium Status throughout the country. What's Colour is a serious consideration for the astute breeder wishing to add international bloodlines, talent and outstanding conformation that is passed onto his progeny and the added bonus of colour to their performance or breeding ideals. |
